- Open the photoshop 6.
- Open the image.
- Create a new layer of curve from Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves...
- Type in any name and click on OK button.
- Click on OK button
- You should see a new adjustment layer is created.
- Next is to click on the Gradient Tool.
- From the center of the image, click on one point to other as shown
- You should see gradient fill at the new layer.
- Double click on the curve.
- Adjust the curve to brighten the exposure.
- You have successfully balanced the exposure between the sky and the sea.
